243 political parties registered in Iran

TEHRAN - The Interior Ministry’s deputy director for political affairs has said 243 political parties are legally registered in Iran.

Majid Khorshidi, however, stated that political parties yet have to reach their desired performance, ILNA reported on Monday.

He said toward the February elections the situating is ripe to use the capacity and bring the parties more to the scene.
