Ahmadinejad’s wife disapproves of lax observation of hijab

altTEHRAN – Azam Sadat Farahi, the wife of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has expressed disapproval of the lax observation of the Islamic women’s dress code (hijab) in the country.

 The West is afraid of the symbol of hijab and that is why a number of Western countries have imposed a ban on hijab, she told a gathering of women in a city in the eastern province of South Khorasan on Wednesday.
