It can be predicted that the Muslim world will be a pole in the future multipolar world, Velayati said during a televised program broadcast live on Iranian television on Thursday night.
The future world will not definitely be a unipolar world led by the United States, Velayati stated.
He went on to say that the Islamic Republic will play a leading role in the future of the Muslim world, whether the enemies want it or not.
Velayati, who is the director of the Permanent Secretariat of the World Assembly of the Islamic Awakening, said that the Islamic Awakening is the Muslims’ return to their undermined dignity.
Commenting on the role of Muslim women in the Islamic Awakening movement, Velayati said that if women, who are pillars of families, are present on the scene, families will be also present on the scene.
Experience has shown that if all people of a Muslim country are present on the scene and stand up for their legitimate rights, they can establish religious democracy and topple dictators, Velayati said.
The World Conference on Women and Islamic Awakening was held in Tehran from Tuesday to Wednesday.
More than 1000 female scholars and intellectuals from 85 countries attended the two-day conference.
