“Shadows in Town” honored at Sydney festival

TEHRAN – “Shadows in Town” has won the Tadgell’s Bluebell Honor Award for best short film by adults about/for children at the 19th Auburn International Film Festival for Children and Young Adults in Sydney, Australia. 

Directed by Shahriar Purseyyedian, the film is about Saeid, who asked his teacher to give him a one-day chance to help his classmate, Alireza, answer the teacher’s questions.  

The award was also presented in three other categories of the festival, which was held from September 19 to 23.
