TEHRAN – President Hassan Rouhani is personally pursuing the confiscation of Iran’s 2 billion dollar assets by the United States, the government spokesman said on Tuesday.

The president has formed a team which regularly reports to the Supreme National Security Council over the case, Mohammad Baqer Nobakht said, IRIB reported.

The team uses all legal potentials to redeem Iran’s rights by having the money return to the Islamic Republic, Nobakht said.
