TEHRAN – “A Woman without a Name”, an Iranian documentary by Farzad Khoshdast, will be competing in the Copenhagen Film Festival (CPH:DOX) running in the Danish capital from March 16 to 26, the organizers have announced.
The documentary centers on four young women who share their thoughts from behind the bars at a prison for women near Tehran, in a film rich in contrasts and nuances.
The film will be competing with nine other movies from countries such as Austria, U.S, Germany, Norway and Russia for the F:ACT Award, which is dedicated to films in the range between documentary filmmaking and investigative journalism.
