TEHRAN – Shireen Mazari, the chief whip of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party, has criticized U.S. President Donald Trump’s withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal, describing the move as “sheer madness”.

“America made a big mistake by imposing sanctions on Iran… Because of Washington’s policies, the world is faced with dangers,” Mazari was quoted as saying by Fars on Monday.

“I’ve always been a critic of America and I believe that Washington makes hasty decisions with regard to putting pressure on Islamic countries, especially Pakistan and Iran,” she added.
