Shanghai Art Collection Museum displays paintings by Iranian children

TEHRAN – A collection of paintings by Iranian children is on display in an exhibition at the Shanghai Art Collection Museum in China.

Hossein Bordbar, a curator of the Isfahan Museum of Contemporary Art, has selected 18 works for the exhibition, which opened last Wednesday and will run until September 22, the Persian service of ISNA reported.

The exhibition has been organized to promote the Silk Road, an ancient route along which silk was carried from China and across central Asia to the Eastern Mediterranean and Europe.

The exhibition also showcases collections from the Silk Road nations.
