Iran-Austria parliamentary friendship group visits Vienna

TEHRAN – Hossein Amiri-Khamkani, head of the Iran-Austria parliamentary friendship group, left Tehran for Vienna at the head of a 4-member group, Mehr reported on Monday.

During their visit, the Iranian lawmakers are set to meet their Austrian counterparts as well as other Austrian officials to discuss matters of mutual interests.

They also plan to visit Vienna’s public transport system and drinking water system.

In recent years, Iran and Austria have developed friendly parliamentary relations in addition to the expansion of political and economic ties.
