Omani tourists rescued from floodwaters

TEHRAN – Iranian relief forces have rescued 15 Omani travelers whose bus was stranded in floodwaters in southern Iran, IRNA reported on Monday.
The tourists had just left Bandar Charak for Shiraz, however, they were trapped in floods minutes after departure, Foad Moradzadeh, the governor of Shibkaveh district, said.
He added that rescue teams evacuated passengers using a loader.
Bandar Charak is a coastal town and capital of Shibkaveh district, in Bandar Lengeh, Hormozgan province.
