TEHRAN Two politicians believe that national economy must receive priority attention, yet one of them who is a reformist deputy also believes that "curing the sick economy is not an easy task and requires lots of time and energy." The reformist deputy Iraj Nadimi told the TEHRAN TIMES, "More than two months have passed since the 6th Majlis was formed, and during this period the Parliament has dealt with a heavy agenda including the approval of the credentials of the deputies." "And moreover," Nadimi pointed out, "the Third Five-Year Development Plan and the annual budget have already been approved by the 5th Majlis." He went on to say, "I believe that investment security should be dealt with first so that efforts can be made to attract foreign investors." Nadimi, who is a member of the Parliamentary Economic Commission, further said that economy and politics should go side by side.
