TEDPIX loses 2,300 points on Wednesday

TEHRAN- TEDPIX, the main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), lost 2,396 points to 1.31 million on Wednesday.

As reported, over 4.755 billion securities worth 29.676 trillion rials (about $102.33 million) were traded at the TSE.

The first market’s index dropped 3,581 points, and the second market’s index lost 701 points.

TEDPIX gained over 7,000 points in the past Iranian calendar week (ended on Friday).

TSE is one of the four Iranian stock exchanges, the other three ones are Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME), Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), and Iran’s over-the-counter (OTC) market, known as Iran Fara Bourse (IFB).
