Iranian Women Recite Qoran in Vatican

TEHRAN For the first time a group of Iranian women recited some verses of the holy Qoran in a religious program in Vatican city on Sunday.
The program, held in the Hall of Paolo VI in Vatican, was attended by over 200 people.
The recitation of the verses 35, 42, 43, 45 and 46 of Chapter III of the holy Qoran, which was accompanied by traditional Iranian and Islamic music, was highly praised by the audience.
The Islamic Republic of Iran to Italy Ambassador Ali Ahni, a number of Iranians residing in Rome and the ambassadors of Arab countries were also present at the program.
The program was organized on the occasion of birthday of Hazrat Zahra (SA), the daughter of holy Prophet Mohammad (S) that celebrated on Tuesday by the Muslims across the world.
In Iran, this occasion is observed as Mother's Day' and also Woman's Day'.
The occasion also marks the birth anniversary of Founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini.
