Second Hearing Held for Arj Company

TEHRAN The second open session of the trial of Arj Company was held yesterday at Branch 1410 of the Public Court. Judge Said Mortazavi heard the case.
The company's Managing Director Abbas Dadgar was present at the court hearing as the primary defendant. Dadgar was accused, among other things, of paying 500 million rials to an employee of the Central Bank in order to receive a loan, 820 million rials to several employees of the Ministry of Industry for receiving $8.2 million in foreign exchange in credit from the ministry, as well as 2.5 trillion rials to his secretary, Ms. Jamileh Afshin Jam, to purchase a car and a personal villa.
Others accused in the case include Javad Bassiratpour, Taqi Qods, Youssef Yassi, Hassan Asgarian, Karam-Ali Ahmadi, Behrouz Nik-Khah and Jamileh Afshin Jam.
