Female sprinter Fasihi wins gold at Budapest event

TEHRAN – Farzaneh Fasihi of Iran won a gold medal at the Budapest Régió Fedettpályás Bajnokság.

She finished in first place in the women’s 60m with a time of 7.31 seconds.

Hungarian sprinters Anna Bognar and Anna Luca Kocsis finished in second and third place with the time of 7.56 and 7.59, respectively.

Fasihi has represented Iran at the 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games.
