Philippine Separatists Ready to Resume Talks

MANILA The biggest Muslim rebel group in the Philippines said on Monday it had accepted a government offer to resume peace talks but Islamic nations must be allowed to oversee any agreement to ensure it was implemented. Eid Kabalu, spokesman for the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), told Reuters the front also preferred that talks be held on foreign soil.
