Russian Media Magnate Kept in Custody in Spain

MADRID Spain's top criminal court on Friday ordered that Russian media magnate Vladimir Gusinsky remain in custody pending a decision on whether he would be extradited to Moscow to face fraud charges, AFP said. "The risk remains that (Gusinsky) could escape justice, as long as the court is studying what decision to take on the extradition requested by the Russian federation," said the court ruling.
