CAIRO Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak left Cairo for Germany on Tuesday at the start of a European tour to discuss the situation in the Middle East. Mubarak is due to hold talks with German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder at his residence later on Tuesday, the state-owned daily *** Al-Ahram *** said. The tour is to include Romania and Russia and will focus on rising tensions in the Middle East and bilateral cooperation, it added.
