TEHRAN A chemically-wounded war veteran who was injured during the Iraqi-imposed war against Iran (1980-88) succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday after years of suffering and pain. Many Iranian war veterans, victims of Iraqi chemical attacks, have been martyred during the past years. Those claiming to be advocates of human rights, including Germany, U.S., Britain and France, are responsible for the blight, because they provided the Iraqi regime with chemical weapons. More than 30,000 of Iranian forces were injured during the Iraqi chemical attacks. Since 1981, some 1,400 chemical wounded have been martyred. During the last year only, over 20 of chemical wounded were martyred and another painful point is that some 2000 others are passing the last days of their lives. ************************
