ISFAHAN The national weightlifter of Isfahan-based Zob Ahan team, Shahin Nassirinia, said he would make every effort to stand first in the World Weightlifting Championship contests to be held in Turkey late October.

Nassirinia talking to IRNA added, "Although nobody can predict that the team will take medals in the world event, all the national weightlifters of Iran are determined to bring honor for the country by grabbing medals in different categories." The Iranian weightlifters should double their efforts, warned Nassirinia justifying that "we do not have much time and the world tournament will start very soon." The warm-up sessions will help the weightlifters of Iran repeat their previous records, said the 85kg weightlifter.
