DETROIT, Michigan -- A Detroit truck driver who tried to shake off an unwanted passenger clinging to his truck by driving at concrete walls and bridge supports could face charges of attempted murder, AFP quoted police as saying Thursday. Michigan state police are investigating reports that the victim, 53, was seeking some money owed him by his truck driving nemesis when he jumped onto the truck cab's running board. The 35-year-old trucker, bent on escaping, took off, careening along a major interstate highway for eight kilometers (five miles), "attempting to hit bridge abutments and concrete walls and also some construction signs," State Trooper Carmen Waitman said.
