Wildlife Museum to Be Inaugurated in Ardebil

ARDEBIL Ardebil Deputy Governor General Akbar Behnamjoo said, "The largest (natural history) wildlife museum will be opened near the touristic Shourabil Lake in Ardebil by mid-August."

According to a report published by the Persian daily ***Hamshahri***, Behnamjoo added that native and non-native species of wildlife including beasts, birds, and fishes will be showcased in the wildlife museum.

He said that the museum has been designed in two sections, the second section of which allocated to the giant sea creatures living in Shourabil Lake will be put into operation in a few years.

Behnamjoo added that the total area of the museum amounts to 1,150 square meters, and around Rls.2 billion has been invested for implementation of its second phase excluding the value of the ground under construction.
