BANDAR ANZALI, Gilan Province -- Former player and head coach of Malavan Club of Bandar Anzali was introduced during a ceremony in Sadaf Guesthouse Tuesday as the manager.

Nosrat Irandoust, also an erstwhile footballer of Malavan, was appointed as the assistant of Salehnia. Having a 27-year career in Malavan as the player, captain and trainer, Salehnia said: "The young players revitalized Malavan's past honors." He referred to the great efforts of former coach Mohammad Ahmadzadeh and other officials as the main factor for the successes made by Malavan, adding that "I would like to start work as an advisor to Ahmadzadeh."

The newly-appointed coach asked the owner of club, navy, to support Malavan, said IRNA.
