Declining Audiences, Major Problem for Cinema: Hatamikia
In a discussion session on the film **Low Attitude** held in Isfahan, he stated that the improper atmosphere of cinemas, financial problems, and privatization of the film industry are the major difficulties.
He said that cinema audiences expect to be respected, but most contemporary films question their common sense.
"We should not mirror the daily problems of the people in cinema, but rather reveal the problems that people will face in the future", he continued.
"We can not dress a political issue in the cover of a film," he added.
Hatamikia said that although **Low Attitude** is not about current social conditions, it examines the important subject of immigration.
He said that his film ***Glass Agency*** is about those who were on the frontlines during the eight-year imposed war and who have a particular attitude toward society, but the film ***Low Attitude*** deals with ordinary people and their specific problems.
He added that he tried to bring the film screen and the audience closer together with the film ***Low Attitude***.
