Iranian Boxers KO'd of Turkish Tournament

TEHRAN -- Three boxers of Iran were eliminated from a international event in Turkey.
Ebrahim Ermashi, representative of Iran in 57kg class, beat a Turkish pugilist in the first round but he was knocked out of the tournament after losing to a Kazakh boxer.
In 75kg bouts, Homayoun Amiri of Iran was beaten by his Kazakh rival in the first round and eliminated.
Iran's 91kg boxer, Rouhollah Hosseini, did not make it either and lost to a participant from Bulgaria in the first round, IRNA reported.
Twenty-eight boxers have participated in the Turkish meet.
