Leader Elaborates on Plots to Prevent Islamic Awakening
Elaborating on the differences, the Leader added, "Now, there is a great movement toward Islamic principles. "The beginning of the Islamic awakening and the return to Islamic principles as introduced by the holy Prophet (S) are in fact regarded as the sign of the restoration of Islamic identity and dignity."
Reaching this goal -- while the United States is interested in dominating the world -- certainly presents a great challenge to the enemies of Islam, the U.S. as the biggest one in particular, because Islam is the religion of peaceful coexistence of nations. It is also a source of respect of human rights, justice, peace, and security.
Meanwhile, the U.S. is making serious efforts to harm Muslims by trying to depict the Islamic world as an opponent of peace and justice.
The U.S. approach in this regard has been more obvious since the collapse of the world's bipolar system and its efforts to portray Islam as the replacement of world communism.
But according to the Leader's interpretation, the current disastrous situation of the world, with the atrocities in Palestine and the tragedies in Iraq in particular, is a laboratory where the Islamic ummah (community) can learn lessons.
The Leader rhetorically asked who facilitated Saddam Hussein regime's acquisition of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and elaborated on U.S. goals.
He said that the main objective of the U.S. in building up the Baath regime was, in fact, countering the incipient Islamic awakening, a comprehensive movement, frightening the enemies of the Islamic world.
This is why the U.S. government and its officials, with false propaganda against Islam and propagation of American Islam, which is associated with some superstitions, are trying to prevent the Islamic world from embracing Mohammadan Islam, just like the earlier U.S. support of Iraq and the Taleban, which was also meant to prevent the Islamic awakening and confront the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
