TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) – Iranian judo captain Seyed Mahmoud Miran said here Friday he will retire after 2004 Athens Olympic Games. “My main goal is to win a medal in Athens Olympics,” said the +100kg judoka adding “I have taken a medal in every international tournament I have participated in but my collection lacks an Olympic medal as I was unlucky in Sydney and missed the Olympic medal.”

Miran said he has started his tough training to get ready for the world judo event in Osaka, Japan.
