10th olefin plant 97% complete
The project includes laying concrete foundation for the plant, wiring, instruments, painting and insulation.
All units of Jam Petrochemical Complex were going through finishing stages last month and pre-commissioning the said units is currently underway.

HDPL and LLDPA plants reached pre-commissioning last month.
Construction of plants related to the second phase of Jam Petrochemical Complex has been underway last month.
Jam Petrochemical Complex is the world’s biggest olefin complex and is located in Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (Assaluyeh). The complex will finally produce 1.32 million tons of ethylene, 320,000 tons of propylene, 300,000 tons of high density polyethylene, 300,000 tons of low density linear polyethylene, 300,000 tons of polypropylene, 450,000 tons of ethylene glycol, 115,000 tons of butadiene, 200,000 tons of alpha amines, and 220,000 tons of benzene pyrolysis.
Thus far about 2 billion dollars has been invested in the plant including 1.4 billion dollars and 4,500 billion rials.
Products of the 10th olefin plant, which is among the most profitable petrochemical projects of Iran, will be used to make carpets, moquette, acrylic fibers, textiles, plastics, and films.
