TEHRAN – For the first time ever in Iran, copper cathode production witnessed a 13 percent rise, National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO) reported here on Sunday.

NICICO’s production was 200,800 tons in last Iranian calendar year (ended on March 20, 2007), showing a 13 percent growth when compared to figure in its preceding year.
