TEHRAN -- An exhibition entitled the “Sun’s Departure” is currently underway at the Astan-e Qods Razavi Museum to commemorate the 18th death anniversary of Imam Khomeini, it will continue until June 5.

The director of the Public Relations Office of the museum, Mohammad-Hassan Mohammadian, announced that an outstanding collection of stamps commemorating different stages of the Imam’s life are on display in this exhibition.

He mentioned that there is also a showcase of valuable and historical documents comprising messages that the Imam made during his struggle against the Shah’s regime and commands to political and theological figures of his time. Photos showing scenes from various phases of his life up until his death are also on display.

The original edition of the Imam’s testimony and copies of his literary works and articles have been showcased.

Another exhibit, for children and adolescents, entitled “Sun of Guidance” is underway concurrently at the museum, and includes photos, posters and other works in memory of the late Imam.
