Actor and producer Hamid Delshakib dies

TEHRAN -- Iranian actor and producer Hamid Delshakib died on Tuesday.

He was taken to a Tehran hospital on Saturday after suffering a stroke and going into a coma.
Hamid Delshakib was born in 1926 and began his artistic career when he entered the theater in 1942. He branched into the world of cinema with a role in the film “Friday” directed by Hamid Qadakchian.
“Path of Glory”, “Attorney General”, “One Ticket, Two Movies”, “Invisible Man”, “Jamil”, and “My Mother Gisu” are among his other film credits.
