Iranian flamenco band to give concerts

TEHRAN -- Iranian flamenco music band conducted by Mehdi Mohaqeqi is to give performances at the Honar Cultural Center on December 6 and 7.
The band will play pieces by renowned musicians Victor Wooten, Paco de Lucia, Vicente Amigo and Manolo Sanlucar.
The Honar Cultural Center is located on Arasbaran St., Seyyed Khandan neighborhood.
---------“Situation” wins best director award at Kosovo festival
TEHRAN -- The Iranian play “Situation” written and directed by Payam Azizi has won best director award at the 5th Kosovo Film and Theater Festival held from November 20-27 in Pristina, Kosovo.
The play was previously awarded at the 10th Student International Theater Festival in Tehran and was staged for the public at the Molavi Hall a few months ago.
Reza Yunesfard and Mostafa Abbasi are amongst the actors.
-------Niavaran Cultural Center to host concert
TEHRAN -- The Niavaran Cultural Center is to host a music concert on December 5 and 6.
Featuring music composed by Purya Shivafard, the musicians will include Asgahr Arabshahi (tar), Sadaf Amini (santur), Mehdi Rahmani (tonbak) and Purya Shivafard (ney). Vocalist Arjang Seifizadeh will accompany the group.
