Sarakhs sulfur recovery unit 4 to come on stream soon

TEHRAN – The 4th unit of sulfur recovery at Shahid Hasheminejad gas refinery is going to come on stream during the celebration decade of the Islamic Revolution of Iran (Feb. 1-11), the IRINN news agency reported.

By putting the unit, the daily production capacity of sulfur at Hasheminejad gas refinery of Sarakhs will be increased from the current 1,900 tons to 2,600 tons.
Some 240 billion rials has been expended for erection of the unit which recycles 650 tons of sulfur from acid gases on the daily basis.
Shahid Hasheminejad refinery has the daily production capacity of 54 million cubic meters of acid gases and by commissioning the sulfur recovery unit 4, the refinery will be the largest producer of sulfur in Iran
