TEHRAN -- Fifteen renowned foreign plays are to be screened in the Fiction Films Section of the 26th Fajr International Film Festival.

James Mangold’s “3:10 to Yuma” (2007) starring Russell Crowe, and Brian De Palma’s “The Black Dahlia” (2006) starring Scarlett Johansson have been selected for the program.
The organizers also plan to screen Marco Risi’s “Maradona”, Todd Robinson’s “Lonely Hearts”, Alfonso Cuarón’s “Children of Men” and Chris Weitz’s “The Golden Compass” in this section.
The Fajr Film Festival will be held in Tehran from February 1 to 11.
------Iranian art show opens in China
TEHRAN -- The city of Guangzhou in southeastern China is hosting an exhibition of Persian artworks sponsored by the Iranian cultural attaché’s office.
A collection of metal works together with paintings and miniatures and examples of calligraphy have been put on display.
The opening ceremony of the exhibit took place on Friday and was attended by several Chinese cultural officials..
