Four Ancient Buildings Registered as National Monuments

TEHRAN The Director General of Gilan Province's Cultural Heritage Organization, Mohammad Taqi Razzazi, said that four historical-religious buildings in Gilan Province have been registered as Iran's national monuments. Speaking yesterday with the reporters in his office in Rasht, capital city of Gilan Province, he added that those buildings are the tombs of Aqa Seyed Hossein in Langroud, Nasir ali Kia in Koubeh Sofla Village in Roudsar, Abu Ja'far Thaeri Abiz in Chaboksar and Pol-e Kheshti (adobe bridge) in Loshan. He noted the monuments date back to the early years of Qajarid Dynasty. Over 54 historical-religious buildings in Gilan Province have so far been registered as national monuments and another ten are to be registered soon.
