Organizations, Unions Call For People's Turnout on Nov.4--- STUDENTS TO STAGE GRAND RALLY TOMORROW

TEHRAN The Islamic Propagation Organization (IPO) in a statement Saturday commemorated the 19th anniversary of takeover of the U.S. Den of Espionage, the former American Embassy in Tehran, on November 4, 1979. The IPO's statement called on revolutionary people of Iran, especially the university and school students to attend the rallies. November 4, also anniversary of the late Imam Khomeini's exile to Turkey in 1963 and of the university students struggle against the ousted Shah's tyranny in 1979, is a day of national resistance against the arrogance, the statement read.

Referring to the students' takeover of the U.S. Den of Spies which was named by the late Imam as the Second Revolution, the IPO stressed the necessity of fighting against the U.S., saying that November 4 is the continuation of the Imam's path. Daftar-e Tahkim-e Vahdat (office for consolidation of unity) in a statement, announced that students and the youth will stage a grand rally on Monday (tomorrow) to mark the occasion.

According to the statement, the rally will begin at 13:00 hours local time from Tehran University and will end in front of the former U.S. Embassy compound.
