TEHRAN - Iranian table tennis player Noshad Alamiyan has been invited to the 2009 Canada Junior and Cadet Open.

The competitions will be held in Montreal from August 20 to 23. International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) officials want to create an opportunity for young players to prove their abilities on the international stage.
Alamiyan will also participate in Germany’s training camp, slated for August 24 to September 1.
Alamiyan will immediately after travel to Portugal to take part in the Funchal Junior Open which will be held from September 2 to 6.
Alamiyan has had a string of good performances in the ITTF Junior Circuits. The left-handed athlete won the Doha Junior Open title in February.
The 17-year-old was selected as the best player of the World Junior Table Tennis Championships in Madrid in December
