Hamed Haddadi reaches 700 points in Asia

Iranian basketball national team center Hamed Haddadi became the first Asian player to reach 700 points in the continent’s competitions.
Haddadi top scored Iran with 23 points in the match against Lebanon in the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup.
He has helped Iran win FIBA Asia Championship three times in 2007 Tokushima, 2009 Tianjin and 2013 Manila respectively and won a bronze medal with the team in 2015 Changsha.
Haddadi started his playing career in his homeland team Shahin Ahvaz in 1999 and has played at Memphis Grizzlies, Dakota Wizards, Phoenix Suns, Sichuan Blue Whales and Qingdao DoubleStar Eagles.
Team Melli will face South Korea in the FIBA Asia Cup semi-final on Saturday in the competition underway in Beirut, Lebanon.
