TEHRAN – Mohammad Jafar Montazeri, Iran’s prosecutor general, said on Thursday that trials of the financially corrupt individuals will be broadcast on TV.

Montazeri said numerous cases related to economic issues have been brought to the court and they are under investigation, Tasnim reported.

“Given the large amount of the cases, handling these crimes will be time-consuming but this does not mean that we will back out,” he added.

He also warned that any act of profiteering will be faced with a “decisive response” from the Judiciary.
