TEHRAN – Ali Akbar Salehi, director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (IAEO), has mocked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for claiming existence of a secret atomic warehouse near Tehran.

In an interview with the Etemaad newspaper published on Monday, Salehi said, “Mr. Netanyahu really made himself an object of ridicule. It was obvious that he was lying.”

He added that despite Netanyahu’s claims, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has certified Iran’s compliance with the nuclear agreement for the 12th time, showing the peaceful nature of Tehran’s nuclear program.
