TEHRAN – Amir Khojasteh, head of the Iran-Syria parliamentary friendship group, has underlined the importance of the Palestinian issue for the Muslim world, saying different crises have been created in the region to marginalize the issue.

“Creating crises in the region and in different countries including Syria, Yemen and Libya are [aimed] to marginalize the issue of Palestine,” said Khojasteh, who was in Damascus along with a delegation, Mehr reported on Sunday.

He also warned of the consequences of U.S. President Donald Trump’s “Deal of the Century”, saying everyone should be vigilant in order to prevent it.
