Iranian diplomats renew vow to Ayatollah Khamenei, demand tribunal for Trump
TEHRAN- Diplomats and ambassadors from the Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a joint statement on Tuesday renewing their allegiance to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
The declaration came as a direct rebuke to U.S. President Donald Trump, whose recent rhetoric the officials described as a violation of international law and a sign of American desperation.
The signatories emphasized that they remain bound by the Leader’s strategic guidelines in navigating foreign policy, vowing to uphold the legacy of dignified resistance established by Ayatollah Khomeini. The statement lauded Ayatollah Khamenei’s leadership in guiding the Resistance Front against the “Zionist regime and its arrogant supporters,” noting that his wisdom has solidified Iran’s standing among freedom-seekers globally.
“These degrading remarks clearly demonstrate the weakness and abjection of the arrogant system in the face of the resilience of the Iranian nation,” the statement read, characterizing Washington’s threats as proof of the Resistance Front’s growing strength.
The diplomats accused Trump of flagrantly violating three pillars of the UN Charter: the prohibition of interference in internal affairs, the ban on the use of force, and commitments to counter terrorism. Calling for the U.S. President to face trial in international courts for “threatening global peace and security,” they urged independent governments worldwide to stand firm against Washington’s lawlessness.
“We call on all Muslims and freedom-seekers to condemn this threatening behavior,” the officials urged. They also said that Tehran’s diplomatic corps is fully mobilized for the challenges ahead.
