Lorestan Province Exports 67,000 Tons of Minerals

KHORRAMABAD, Lorestan Province Managing Director of Minerals and Metals Organization of Lorestan Province Mahmoud Farhadi said here Thursday that over 67,160 tons of minerals were exported from Lorestan Province last month.
He told IRNA that the minerals included decorative stones and a variety of building stones.
He also put that the value of the minerals exported at $3.1 million. They were exported to Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Taiwan, Italy, Kuwait, and United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The province has rich mineral resources and has about 20 percent of total national reserve of Iran's decorative stones.
