TEHRAN -- An Armenian youth theater group arrived in Iran to attend the university section of the 20th International Fajr Theater Festival.

The group is scheduled to perform the play ****Settlement of Petrovic**** on February 5.

The play is directed by David Hakopian, who will stage the play with 14 actors in Molavi Hall at Tehran University.

Hakopian who was born in 1958, studied directing at the University of Cinema and Theater of Yerevan where he now teaches.

He has acted over 50 roles and directed 13 plays.

Hakopian won the best director prize at the Iran Festival in 2001.
