WASHINGTON -- The frustrations continued to build for Michael Jordan and his Washington Wizards on Saturday night, as they came up just short in a 95-94 loss to the red-hot Philadelphia 76ers.

Two days after saying there was "zero chance" he would be back for another season, Jordan started and went a team-high 37 minutes.

He notched 16 points on 8-for-20 shooting.

Allen Iverson and Jerry Stackhouse topped their respective teams, Iverson collecting 35 points for the winners and Stackhouse counting a season-high 38 for Washington, Reuters reported.

It was the sixth straight setback for the waning Wizards.

The surging 76ers won for the 10th time in 11 tries.

Jordan, who turns 40 next February, has "unretired" twice previously, both times to great fanfare, but this time he says he is going for good, that he wants to get on with his life.
