Tehran’s Tochal hosts snowman festival
Families and nature lovers gathered together on Thursday at Tochal ski resort, northern Tehran, holding a festival by building snowmen.

Tochal ski resort
Tochal is one of the most famous ski resorts in Iran. Located in northern Tehran, the site can be reached via a four-mile journey by cable car that leaves from the northern suburbs of Tehran. At 3963m, Tochal ski resort is the fifth-highest resort in the world, ensuring a long season from December to at least April and sometimes June. The resort hosts two restaurants and a hotel with 26 rooms and four suites.

TEHRAN- The initial stages of preparation is underway at the Tochal ski resort which will be reopened on Wednesday. The conditions for reopening are fulfilled, waiting for the official announcement. As a recreational hub situated in north of Tehran, this is a place to enjoy a variety of sports such as skiing or snowboarding.
