IPCC’s petrochemical sales exceeds $3b
A report issued by the Public Relations Department of Iran Petrochemical Commercial Company noted that the company has offered 4.563 million tons petrochemical products in domestic markets through rationing to 4,864 customers, which were used as raw material for downstream industries.
Domestic sales of the company has been mentioned at 13,568 billion rials which pertained to petrochemical complexes whose sales activities are carried out by Iran Petrochemical Commercial Company and excludes petrochemical sales by Arak Petrochemical Complex and Isfahan Petrochemical Complex.
Iran Petrochemical Commercial Company has also paid 40 billion rials as export bonus to exporters in downstream petrochemical industries to boost export of downstream products.
Price of petrochemical products in Iran is set by the High Economy Council and this system of pricing has inflicted about 5,000 billion rials in losses to the industry. Experts belies that floating price of petrochemical products will solve this problem.
