TEHRAN (PIN) – managing director of Sarv Oil and Gas Production Company announced that detailed design of a GTL plant at Salafchegan has been started.

Mohammad Didari told Petroenergy Information Network that detailed design of the plant has started after completion of preliminary design in March.

He said needed time for implementing detailed design will be about 9 months and stated that the whole project, which as started since February, should be finished in 3 months.

“After implementing Salafchegan project, Iran will be one of countries capable of producing high-octane gasoline. Therefore, Iran will be the third country to achieve gas to liquid (GTL) technology,” he said.
