TEHRAN -- Iran’s Apple Tree Group plans to perform the puppet show “The Bald Hero” at the 2nd International Festival of Puppet Artists Debuts, which will be held from June 25 to 28 in Wroclaw, Poland, ISNA reported on Thursday.

The group, which includes Fahimeh, Sima, Saeideh, and Samaneh Mirza-Hosseini, previously staged the puppet show at Turkish and Pakistani festivals.

The puppeteers are staging the Iranian hand puppet show “The Bald Hero” to introduce the world to Iranian culture and art. The group’s trip to Poland is being sponsored by Iran’s Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization (CHTO).

The group is also scheduled to collaborate with the Wroclawski Teatr Lalek during the festival.

“The Bald Hero” will also be performed in Belarus, Germany, and Ireland in September.
