Iran wins three medals at Ziolkowski freestyle bouts

TEHRAN – Iran garnered two golds and one bronze at the international freestyle wrestling tournament, Ziolkowski, in Siedlce, Poland, Saturday.

Reza Yazdani handed Iran the first gold after he stood top in the 84kg category and his teammate Alireza Heidari added the second in the 96kg class.

The bronze came as Mehdi Hajizadeh finished third in the 74kg bouts.

Iran has one representative in today’s 55kg and two in 120kg classes.
